At first, I was going to make the art style semi-realistic and Junji Ito esc. I then realized I hate drawing semi realism and this comic would have never gotten done, so I opted for a more cartoony approach.Originally, Come Meet Me! was going to be about a dating simulator video game. However, I wanted it to be a commentary on porn addiction and also a slight jab at how very young women are sexualized and romanticized in porn, so it was more fitting for it to be a cam site.

Caught in the emptiness of her daily routine, Joan gets fixated a live cam girl website and with it, Chyanne. Chyanne isn’t just a performer, she’s everything Joan has ever wanted. Desperate to hold onto the safety and love Chyanne gives her, Joan becomes obsessed. She’ll do anything Chyanne asks, sacrificing her own life piece by piece to be with her. Chyanne is the only one who matters now. No matter how much it hurts, no matter what it costs.
